Rich Authoring

An easy to use Microsoft Word like content editor allows users to enter content with little or no training.

Easy, intuitive content authoring

Content is authored via a full WYSIWYG (What You See Is What You Get) control that is simple and intuitive to use. Users may author content directly into the system using this control and/or they can paste from a word processor such as MS Word. The familiar Microsoft Word-like interface dramatically improves user learning curve.

Template driven pages

Verve Content retains all content assets as elements within a database which are then output as XML and rendered in ASP pages through XSLT templates. CSS style sheets and XSLT are supported.

Document upload

Document upload is fully supported. Users can browse and load from their local machine, network drives or from the central content store within the application.

Dynamically generated navigation

Verve allows business users to maintain multi-level navigational menus themselves.

Image manipulation and resizing

Powerful image processing capabilities are integrated into the application allowing non technical people to easily publish images that are optimised for web delivery.

Search engine visibility and page meta-data

Verve allows for population of Meta-Data at the site level and individual asset level. This allows the site to be seeded with a defined set of Meta Data tags when the site is first built and importantly this architecture accommodates the continued placement of Meta-Data tags as part of the standard content authoring process. Users can simply and easily enter Meta-Data during day to day content authoring.
